The non-teaching staffs of different academic institutions / colleges are the essential workhorse. It is essential for the non-teaching staffs to perform their duties responsibly to enable the organization work smoothly. They have to work in synchronization with each other to make the organization grow. Conceptually the non-teaching staffs need to have clarity about accounting and finance so to help the administration and make things easier. They also need to have understandings on different matters like tax, VAT, college rules and regulations etc. At the same time they need to interact with students and parents on different matter and, for that, they require effective communication skill and positive thinking. This programme is designed to address these and such related issues and challenges faced by the non-teaching staffs in their day to day affair. Side by side sessions on motivation, positive thinking, coping up with stress, time management will also be undertaken to give the workshop a wholesome effect.

OBJECTIVE:

This program aims at equipping the participating executives with the essentials of financial management through a very brief understanding of the basic functions of finance, costs and their management, financial statements and their implications, techniques, skills and decisions involved in day to day working of an institution. As it has been identified that almost all the non-teaching staffs have little or no finance background, there is a scope of misinterpretation leading to committing mistakes resulting in serious consequences having long term effect/ damage. The two-day programme is designed in such a manner so to educate and enlighten the non-teaching staffs on finance and accounting and other relevant matters. Monotony is a challenge for every organization which leads in creating non-productive workers. The programme will also address the issues through different behavioral modification tools and techniques like positive thinking, motivation, dealing with stress and time management..
